Combs was a vocal supporter of Obama leading up to his election victory last month (Nov08) and is delighted to be attending his swearing in, which will take place in Washington D.C. on 20 January (08).
And the rapper, infamous for demanding the best, doesn't even mind if he's at the back for the ceremony - because he is just happy for the invite.
He tells Access Hollywood, “If I don't have the best seat in the house, I'll be all right. As long as I am there and around the people and able to witness my fellow Americans… I'll be cool."
