Chris Brown has issued a statement in response to the dramatic rollout of events that started with alleged attack of one-tiime girlfriend Rihanna. Click Here For More...

"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person,” the statement states.

Brown also took time to dunk and diffuse much of the speculation that his occurred in the media and the blogs.

"Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds."

The statement never refers to Rihanna directly.

Brown’s father recently stated that his son was concerned for Rihanna’s well-being.

Clinton Brown, his father, said, "He's reflecting on this situation. He's very remorseful. He's very concerned about the situation he wants to make sure that (Rihanna is) okay."

The younger Brown was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats and released on $50,000 bail. He is expected to appear in court on March 5.

R&B singer Keisha Chante, who is reportedly set to play Aaliyah in a forthcoming biopic, is not the "other woman" ! Click Here For More...

Chante, a Juno Award winning Canadian based singer, had been rumored to have been connected to now embattled R&B singer Chris Brown.

Contrary to those reports, which also mentioned Leona Lewis, Chante's manager says Keisha Chante has been nowhere near the singer.

"This is another unsubstantiated, untrue report. She was nowhere near the incident in any way."

"I think they met a few years back, probably three or four years ago in Canada... but that's it."

Rumors had placed the singer as the source of the much-talked-about text message that started Brown and Rihanna's fight over the weekend.

Chante's manager, Mona Scott, says its just another false report.

"There's been a continuous kind of reporting of them linked together and this has been the worst of it all."

In related news, Leona Lewis' team is also backing away from the Brown situation and rumors that she and the "Forever" singer were getting close at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy party.

In a statement released Thursday, Lewis' spokesperson says:

"Leona was at the pre-Grammy party with her family and boyfriend and had nothing whatsoever to do with any argument that may have ensued between Chris and Rihanna. Any allegations that the pair had flirted are completely false."

More Rihanna & Chris Brown

After all that recently went down, Rihanna's friends are now coming out saying Chris Brown has been abusive before. Damn! Also, Rihanna's confession to the police are true: Click Here For More...

Chris Brown and Rihanna seemed like the perfect couple on the outside, but after his recent arrest for felony battery, we’ve learned that it wasn’t the first time Chris raised a hand on her.

According to Police reports, Rihanna claims that Chris has hit her in the past and she referred to it as an ongoing and escalating abusive relationship.

When Rihanna first spoke to LAPD she refused to tell them what started the argument that night. We’ve now learned that it was the result of another woman sending Chris a text message about meeting up later on in the night.

During the argument, according to the police report, she ordered him to drive her home and “faked a call” to someone, saying things like, “He’s dropping me off. Make sure the cops are there,” reports TMZ. This enraged Chris.

He then said something to the effect of “You are really fu**ed up now. I’m going to kill you.” That’s when Chris allegedly began his violent attack with his fists.

At some point during the attack Rihanna took the car keys out of the ignition and threw them outside. He reportedly went outside to look for them, and returned back to the car and allegedly choked her. That’s when she lost consciousness and a witness called 911.

Based on Rihanna’s statement and her injuries Chris will definitely face a felony domestic battery charge, but it’s unclear at this time whether or not that’s the only charge he’ll get because evidence that he made criminal threats against Rihanna is kind of thin.

Chris Brown has taken another hit in the wake of his reported attack on girlfriend Rihanna on Sunday - the singer's former stepdad has confessed the damning story does not surprise him. Click Here For More...

Brown attacked his mother's ex in a magazine article in 2007, claiming he was a terrifying force within the family. Brown told Giant magazine, "He used to hit my mom... He made me terrified all the time, terrified like I had to pee on myself. I remember one night he made her nose bleed. I was crying and thinking, 'I'm just gonna go crazy on him one day...'"

And now Donnelle Hawkins is having his say after Brown was charged with making criminal threats following his Sunday morning fight with Rihanna. Asked what he thought about reports his former stepson had attacked his girlfriend, Hawkins tells Usmagazine.com, "I wouldn't be surprised," adding, "He has to take responsibility for his own actions." And Hawkins is using the interest to dismiss reports he abused Brown's mother.

He adds, "There was a lot of arguing between his mom and I (but) I never raised a hand at his mom. I spanked Chris one time. I became the bad guy. Chris was really mad at his mom for leaving his dad, so I became the scapegoat. No matter how much I tried to be a father figure, nothing worked."
