New York Hot 97 Summer Jam saw performances by Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, and surprise appearances by LL Cool J, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana.
Good Girl Gone Bad Rihanna was on the bill to perform, but decided she had better things to do by attending the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles with boyfriend Chris Brown.
Kanye was schedule to close out the event, but Hot 97 had other plans by having Jim Jones close out the event. And ya' boy Kanye went off, saying who is Jim Jones, he's nobody! When Kanye discovered Jim was at the event he song another tune by getting on Hot 97 and laying off of Jim. Straight ego trippin'.
