The rapper, real name Byron McCane, was reportedly confronted by several men who beat and choked him before making off with his jewelry.
L.A. cops arrested Marlo Jones in connection to the assault; he is a contract worker for the city's anti-gang organization Unity One, who work with gangs and the LAPD in a bid to reduce inner-city crime.
According to authorities, a 30-year-old is being held on $1.1 million bail. They are currently seeking other male and female suspects.
